Employee Giving and Community Outreach

Employee Gift Match Program
This program encourages community involvement and supports the causes and organizations that are important to Lam’s U.S-based employees. Lam Research matches monetary donations dollar-for-dollar and volunteer time at $10 per hour up to a total of $2,000 per year for each regular full-time employee. Since the program’s inception in 2000, the Company has matched nearly $1.6 million in employee charitable contributions.

Disaster Relief and Recovery
Lam Research makes corporate contributions and matches employee donations to regional disaster relief efforts around the world through a Disaster Relief Employee Gift Match Program. In additional to corporate grants for initial response, grants may be made for recovery and rebuilding.
Community Engagement
Lam Research organizes employee volunteering opportunities and makes resources available to enable employees to become actively involved with their communities. Activities include helping needy families and children (school supplies drives, holiday food and toy drives, etc.), supporting environmental restoration and sustainability, and organizing onsite blood drives. Throughout the year, we look for effective ways to support the charitable activities of our employees around the globe.
